Before I came to live at Asian Hope I lived with my aunt. My mom had dropped me off at my aunt’s house because taking care of me and my younger brother was too much. I went to school with my cousin who was the same age as me. A few months after living with my aunt, Bora, my older brother, came to live with us. A few months after that we moved to Asian Hope. Since Rena was already living there, we had someone we knew living there.

When I came to live with my new big family, I wasn’t so nice to a lot of people in the house at first. Gradually I learned to be nicer. I started kindergarten soon after I got to Asian Hope. That’s where I learned English. Growing up in Asian Hope is a fun experience for me. I liked talking to all my brothers and sisters. I hung out with Tirot, David, Jonathan, Socheata, and my friends from school a lot. I am so happy at the way God works things out His way and not mine!

Even living in separate houses now it’s still to fun to go over to the guys’ house and hang out. I like playing the Xbox and basketball and soccer with them. Those were a lot of fun times and I’m sure there are going to be a lot more memorable memories with my family and with my friends.

When I grow up I want to become a Bible teacher. I don’t know if it’s God’s plan for me to become a teacher but now I’m only thinking about it. I pray that I will be satisfied with whatever God has in store for my future. If I could I would like to go to take Bible translation and then take a Bible major and start teaching at a school afterwards. Any prayer would be appreciated if that happened.
