Asian Hope hosted its first Ignite the Ice event at the Pepsi Center on December 12, 2008. It was an exciting night with silent auctions to bid on (including sitting on the Avs Bench during pre-game warm-ups), dinner on the VIP Level,Socheatha and Bora (two students from the Children’s Homes now studying college here in the States) flew in to share their life stories, VIP tickets to the Avalanche vs. Blackhawks, and an open-skate on the ice after the game!
Asian Hope was able to raise over $12,000 from this event! Thank you to everyone who attended, purchased items from the silent auction and made this an exciting event in which we look forward to doing again next year.
