The children’s home began in 1998. The vision was to find around 20 street kids and orphans in the capital city of Phnom Penh and give them the familial and educational needs to become equipped to transform their country. By bringing in fewer orphans, Asian Hope was able to focus more on equipping them to become leaders, and thus having the opportunity to dramatically influence the next generation of Cambodians economically, politically, academically, and spiritually.
The children’s homes have helped raise over thirty orphans in the last 10 years. These children have gone from fighting to survive, to dreaming of becoming doctors, politicians, businessmen, teachers, military members, pastors and nurses! They have a new vision and hope; God has a plan and a future for them and their country!
Currently, we have two children’s homes: an all boys home and an all girls home. Click here to read some of their stories.
